Medu Vada / Urad Vada:


Ingredients:

For Vada:
1) Urad dal soaked overnight -2cups
2) Roasted chana dal- 2Tbsp
3) Green chillies- 2-4no.
4) Corriender leaves- 2Tbsp.
5) Ginger Finley chopped- 1Tbsp.
6) Curry leaves chopped- 1sprig.
7) Fresh coconut chopped- 1/4cup.
8) Black paper corn crushed- 8-10.
9) Oil for Deep frying...
10) Salt to taste.
11) Water.


Method:
1) Grind soaked Urad dal & roasted chana dal to get very fine paste of it.
2) Now kneed the paste by adding little little water spoon by spoon to fill Air i to batter.
Do it for 8-10 min.. until batter gets very fluffy and airy..!
3) Now Add all above ingredients and mix it well.
4) Keep aside in refrigerator for 15 mins.
5) Now heat the frying pan on medium temperature.
6) And try as suitable method as you can possibly make whole inside the vada and pour into oil for frying.
7) Keep pouring hot oil on top of vada if vada is not nicely covered with oil.
8) Fry Until we get golden brown colour.
